Proposal Analyst
Location: Everett, WA

JOB SUMMARY:
The Proposal Analyst will be responsible for working with the bid team to generate detailed and complex proposals for the OEM customer base. The Proposal Analyst will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance teams to develop cost estimates including non-recurring engineering, tooling, certification and recurring costs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the bid team in collecting technical and operational data required for complex OEM commercial proposals
  • Compiles technical and operational inputs into a formal commercial proposal to be reviewed by management
  • Ensures proposals are thorough and capture all cost and schedule impacts
  • Prepares reports to capture various financial data including proposal costs, profits and other relevant information for management review
  • Performs other related duties as required


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in business or communication or equivalent; and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have the ability to pay high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve practical and conceptual problems and deal with a multitude of variables
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Strong financial calculations understanding and experience with cost compilation and estimation
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience generating and reviewing requests for proposals/quotes (RFP/RFQs)
  • Experience in the aerospace industry with airlines, aircraft original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or aircraft interiors suppliers
